The images on this website can be licensed for business and commercial purposes and select photos are available for personal use.
Offside clients have included film companies, magazine and book publishers, Rolex, The Michael Hoppen Gallery and much more via our worldwide agents.
We have no Royalty Free image service.
Finding Images
You can browse the Offside archive by entering keywords into the search tool. There are still photos in our collection that have not been digitised, so if you do not find what you are looking for, please do not hesitate to contact us at mail@welloffside.com and we will be able to assist you with your search.
Required Licences
To use Offside imagery, clients are required to take out a licence. Any images used without a specific licence constitutes as copyright infringement. Unless otherwise stated, images are licensed on a non-exclusive basis.

Uses
Current domestic football images are governed by a Dataco agreement which limits commercial use of the image.
You can licence Offside images for advertising, marketing, apps, websites, social media, TV and film, presentations, newspapers, magazines and books, product packaging and others at our discretion.
Commercial use means that an image is used to sell a product, promote something or raise money for a cause. This includes use in advertising, marketing, promotion, packaging, publication covers, advertorials and consumer or merchandising products.
Editorial use is when an image or clip is used to illustrate a newsworthy article, a critique or an educational text. Examples include newspapers, magazines, editorial broadcasts, non-commercial websites, blogs and social media posts illustrating matters of public interest. Commercial, promotional, advertorial or endorsement purposes are not covered by editorial usage licenses.
Legal guarantees
Unless otherwise stated by Offside these images are provided without any model or property release, nor legal guarantee.
It is down to the client to ensure that their use of the image does not infringe on any rights, private or public.
Image Alterations
Clients are allowed to alter Offside images unless stated otherwise and are solely responsible for any alterations made.
Restricted uses
Offside imagery may not be used in any way that shows any person depicted in an offensive way or any other unlawful manner.
Offside reserves the right to refuse a licence request without justification.
Copyright
Unless otherwise stated Offside retain full ownership of the copyright and moral rights to the licensed image(s).
Photo Credit
Photo credits are expected for editorial use, either beside the published image or in the ‘credits’ section.

VAT
Quoted prices do not include VAT and will be included on the final invoice unless the client is tax exempt.
Prints
Offside are currently working on a high-quality print service which we hope to make operational very soon.
